Giorgio Armani "Diamonds for Men" Campaign
I thought this advert was part of the same campaign as this one:
But it turns out they're for two different Male Fragrances; Josh Hartnett for Giorgio Armani and Matthew McConaughey for Dolce and Gabbana. I assumed they were part of the same ad campaign because of the coincidence in starring a Hollywood Actor, filming in Black and White, having the Protagonist hounded by Paparazzi. Bad times for these two companies!
I prefer the Dolce & Gabbana advert, its more exiting with the music and the actor is more "current" and its just more exciting. I understand that the Armani advert is probably aiming at an older more sophisticated Male audience.

I think the tone of voice is very different for each one, like you said, the Armani perfume is aimed at a more fast-paced lifestyle, and Dolce one a more mature and charming perfume. However I didn't like the Dolce one because the ending was spoilt with the celebrity's smile. It would have looked a lot classier if he made no reaction to the paparazzi.
