
I came across this artist in a shop that sold art prints for cheap. I liked the clean lines of her pieces, not something easily accomplished with paint. Despite the fact that these paintings are from the 1920s to 1940s the technique looks very modern. It is only the content that gives away the age. I included this in my blog because I thought it was interesting how this "modernity" was accomplished, not many designs and art work achieve this.
This piece is called "Portrait of Marjorie Ferry".
